The high quality coating of glass bodies is made by dip-coating with the sol-gel process. The advantages of this method are primarily in the ability to match the desired function of a component by customizing the coating chemistry. There are one- or two-sided coatings possible.

Another service is the wide range of the flat glass parts. Almost arbitrary geometric shapes are possible with high accuracy for glass thickness of 0.2 mm up to 6 mm.

High fracture strength can be achieved by thermal or chemical tempering.
