Innovative Coatings by Sol-Gel-Dip-Coating
The high quality coating of glass bodies is made by the sol-gel process.
The substrate is wetted with a coating solution by defined dipping and pulling.
A thin liquid film remains on the substrate.
Temperature, humidity, speed and angle are critical factors for the thickness and quality of the coating. GBneuhaus GmbH has perfected this method.
Another special application is the individual partial coating or complete coating of surfaces (2-D, planar or curved) or bodies (3-D, cylindrical, complex shapes).
Possible applications are colour coatings by absorption or interference layers, as well as electrically conductive layers, anti-scratch coatings, anti-reflective coatings, hydrophobic or hydrophilic layers.
