SANPURE® Proven Effective Against Viruses

Antimicrobial Coating as Protection Against Viruses.
Our antimicrobial coating SANPURE® is capable of killing viruses on surfaces, rendering them harmless. Its effectiveness against bacteria, fungi, and germs has already been proven multiple times. A test conducted by the hygiene laboratory Eurovir has now confirmed: SANPURE® is also effective in the fight against viruses. After just one hour of contact time, SANPURE® was able to reduce the viral load by over 90% (log 1.35). After eight hours, virtually no residual virus was detectable - resulting in a reduction of over 99.99% (log 4.5).
Antiviral, Antibacterial Surface Coating
SANPURE® can be applied to a wide variety of surfaces made of glass, plastics, and metals, and then acts as a permanent antimicrobial coating. It is especially useful on objects that are touched by many different people within a short period of time - such as door handles, handrails, touchpads, etc. - making SANPURE® a reliable guarantee for greater hygiene. The results described above were determined by Eurovir during a test of virucidal coated carriers using a practical virucidal carrier test, based on the RKI guideline (1995) and ISO 21702:2019, using Bovine Coronavirus (BoCV; strain: S379 Riems) - Screening Test S1. The test was conducted in June 2020.
